Recently our class discussion turned to wireless communications (mostly Wi-Fi) and then I noticed that modern routers can use either 2.4GHz and 5GHz.
So how does a router operate between 2.4GHz and 5GHz? Can somebody explain please?
There is band of frequencies near 2.4 GHz and another band near 5.8(??)GHz. It monitors both receivers for input and has companion transmitters and antennas to send replies.
