My son has a 12v ride on car. I want to make a light bar and a couple of extra strobes like in the video. How can I do this and what do i need. Many thanks.

I'm not sure what this means. I just want the red and blue less to flash like the second video. I presume the controller varies the pattern?

 

First thing is to build the light unit . From the videos these look like oblongs ... perhaps about 3cm high and 15 cm wide

You can buy leds that size , which makes things a lot easier , you need around 10 or 20W each one ....

Decide how many you want, what colors , and that will determine the power and voltage the circuit needs to deal with .... look for these on eBay ... all sizes and colors available , put "Led cob " in search.
