I want to extend the cable on a high gain Antenna to 5 meters.

I have the Antenna but not sure what the connectors are called or what type of cable I must use.

Any assistance and advice will be gladly appreciated.

I don not recommend cutting RF related cables. It can degrade RF signal performance. Try and find the matching connectors.
Based on the RF power, the SMA connector vary in type and its has something to do in preventing consumers changing the antenna (see wikipedia on SMA connector)
