How can get negative from positive supply.

VHi EveryOne

It´s my first post.
I have a circuit which need +/-9V, but I want make only a single supply +9V. I remember saw years ago, a simple circuit for get negative supply from other positive. Can you help me ?

Hi, again, thank for prompt answer. Bill, it is for a triangular generator (use two Op Amp)which control a PLL 4046, I do not know how much current. Do you have some suggestion?regards
