Hi, I would ask the software part of an home automation hub or gateway or controller. Most of them are based on SoC with build in RF transceiver or connect to an MCU with RF transceiver, as OS: small memory footprint Linux. My question is about the program/applications parts, how is that build and how communicates with the hardware part like sending command to nodes. And if is build like an web server (LAMP) how the http server can communicate with the hardware - radio transceiver? Snd how they send data to the cloud server and receive?
