Hi all, I will start by saying I know very little about electronics so please be as basic as you can be with your kind responses. Also when referring to products if you could give an example of what I need that would also be appreciated.

I am mounting a double din head unit into my vauxhall corsa and it is quite an expensive unit.

My "plan" is to hide the head unit behind the rest of the centre console and when the key is inverted, the head unit will rise up and may have to move forward slightly so that it is flush with the hole that will be cut.

I know this is slightly leaving the forum boundaries but I would also need this to be solid so I might need to make mount this in some sort of Box/guide so that it does not move around when in use.

What I would like is a guide in how I could make this happen.

Many thanks

Adam
