Hi All
I am using the traco power ten 40 - 2412 in a project and want to use the remote on/off facility in conjunction with a thermal fuse.
The traco power i am using is: -

The data sheet for it as is: -
http://www.farnell.com/datasheets/112801.pdf
To enable the thermal fuse to work i need it to pull the pin 3 of the traco power to ground if the fuse trips, but to give an open circuit or supply 3.5-12 volts while in operation.
I had though that maybe a transistor could be used in conjunction with the thermal fuse, but unsure on how to do this. Anyone give me an idea of how to do this and make the remote on/off work?
also the thermal fuse i want to use is this one.

Any help greatly appriciated.
Cheers
