What driver?
According to the all the info I see where it is used for interior decor etc, it just requires a 12vdc supply?
There are many examples out there where they are operated in constant use?

Do you still have the old unit- perhaps it can be fixed? Want to provide some photos, so we can view it?

I have the old unit but I don't want to install it. It's faded and gross. Plus when we removed, we were a little rough with it and bent the casing that holds the two lights. Funny thing is, the old light worked. The only reason I replaced was because it was faded after 14+ years in the sun.
