I have a problem understanding how some of the charge profiles relate to the bias indicated in the answers and why some are labeled as "none"
Attempt at a solution
(a) is forward biased since there's injection of minority carriers( but why is there depletion of majority carriers)
(b)is reverse biased since there's depletion of minority carriers
(c) is under no bias since the bands are flat outside the scr but it says it's not zero bias, it's an impossible configuration
(d) is impossible as a stable configuration since electron concentration on the p side can get at most at the same level as the electron concentration on the other side.
(e)forward bias for the same reason as (a), I don't get why the majority carrier profile is different.
(f)zero bias, no band bending. But why is it possible and not (c)?
