I have a nice ASKO D1996 Dishwasher that the PCA board had a loose P1 connector and resulted in a short.
I checked for New Old Stock or used and no luck... it just has 1 area on the board that is out...
If anyone can help provide a reliable repair shop... It would be very helpful.
I know I can just buy a new dishwasher... but most are all plastic and not build like this unit.

Hi,
Are you talking about the connector on the top right of the PCB?
Looks like a dry/ burnt connection, clean and resolder.
Good luck......

if yours has same issue you could try the same fix. but also try cleaning contact (on board and on wires), inspect if female contact is depressed, that would be one reason for poor connection. but also check the wiring and loads that are connected here (pump or heater or both). if one of them is damaged it may draw more current. from what i have seen, one thing that tends to get stuck is the drain pump which struggles when solid waste (shards of broken glass etc.) that jam the propeller. then pump overheats and starts drawing more current. in such case repairing board is not enough, drain need to be cleaned of any debris and pump will likely need to be replaced as well. good luck...
