Hi,

The ckt below shows 3V being switched by a JFET. The switching is working using a 2N3819 TO-92 on my breadboard.

My question is, what's the replacement for it as a SMD package? I don't have much experience in SMD packages.

2N3819 is almost obsolete and is available so far as I know only in an TO-92 case. You can carefully bend the leads against the body and mount it "SMD" (dead bug) style.

For that type of application, it should be relatively easily to find a substitute.
