Help on a LM3914 Voltage indicator 14V to 24V

Hi
I would like to design a circuit that would do the same battery indication but throughout the charging sequence as well, thus knowing the SOC of the battery at all times, this include while charging.
Any ideas ?

So you want the LM3914 to indicate from 14V to 24V?
What is the nominal battery voltage?
What would be the LM3914 supply voltage?
