Hi All,

I have a basic understanding of electronics and need some help. I am building a giant buzzer game and have worked out the buzzer part which is working well. Now that i have the sound part working i want to install a visual part. I want to instal 3 LED strip lights, as one touches off the course one light will illuminate, next time the course is touched the next LED light illuminates until the third contact is made then all three lights are illumated.

I would appreciate any help on this for the circuit.

A cmos 4017 decade counter should do the trick. It has ten outputs which are enabled in sequence each time it receives a clock pulse.
