Has anyone reverse engineered a "Led Keeper" tool. Here is a url to a short youtube video showing a guy using one. I have a tester I can use for the "fuse" test and the "single led" test so I am only interested in the part that helps locate the bad led fast. I'm thinking it might simply just has a 9 volt battery and a momentary switch with at least one lead wire having a wire insulation piercing conductor. Any schematics? Any advice is appreciated! ...........................Thanks

This will fall under a frequently encountered roadblock at this site. The site owner has decided that any projects using mains power, and transformerless power cannot be discussed (emphasized with a second rule that specifically says no mains powered LEDs.

There is something wrong with the schematics in post #1. 110V goes into the stacking plug and 110V comes out of the socket. The test circuit is in parallel with the AC. If you're not wearing rubber gloves, you'll get a shock when clipping the alligator clip on the wires.

May be 110V is not harmful enough, but think of the 240V that are being used in Asia and Europe.
