hi everyone, I have to design a inverter which have a working time of 20 minutes. I know that he working time depends on the size of the battery, however, i don't know how to select the battery (in term of power and its voltage amplitude) to satisfy the time (20 minutes)

Can anyone show me the right way in this situation (and the general way, if we have) :D

Hello,

The running time depends on the used power and the capacity of the battery.
If you use less power the running time will be longer.
If you battery capacity is larger and use the same power teh running time will also be longer.

You also have to factor in the efficiency of the inverter. What is the brand and power rating of the inverter? Most manufacturers exaggerate the ratings
of thier products, they'll advertise 200watts, but in the fine print it'll say 150watts continious 200w peak. Some will post the effiency, again, watch for exaggerations.
