Wow!

14 days down to 3. That is a big claim. And if true......we should hear a lot more about this.

As usual, it's good to be rat. How well this works on humans?
It should be noted that loose skinned animals heal their wounds mostly by contraction in contrast to humans whose wounds heal mostly by re-epithelialization.(33) Recognizing this difference, future more clinical-relevant studies will need to shift to swine and human skin models.

Being able to reduce the healing time on any subject, by that amount, whether it applies to humans or not, is very optimistic. And I would consider it real, actual progress. And people will be looking to make money with those promising numbers. Even if it's only for veterinarians. At first.

At the least, it will encourage much more experimentation and the research from it.

It's a great opportunity for embedded systems engineers and the hobbyist. It puts lots of hobby endeavors together.

Various forms of electrotherapy hobbyist exist now.

I wouldn't get too optimistic. Electrical stimulation therapy is not new.
