GPS data modulated on voice

A GPS is attached with a camera through its audio port. This way, video frames are synchronized with the GPS data. The same data is recorded on Sony DVR (Digital Video Recorder) through PAL standard. I have to get that data out of audio. Any help, suggestion for the software/free ware or matlab code.
