Twice when I was driving my car on the highway I was passed by speeding motorcycles on each side of me DOING WHEELIES.

Today, Canada's Marketplace TV show announced that certification tests on cheap motorcycle helmets bought from ebay, Amazon Marketplace and Walmart Marketplace failed the tests because their certification labels are fakes.

The good news is every motorcyclist knows that a helmet is worth every penny and cheap helmets (even with certifications - fake or real - are not as good as the kore expensive ones. Knowing that, Buffalo Theory applies to motor cycles. Buffalo theory has been used to explain how beer makes an individual smarter but Buffalo Theory can explain how people who buy cheap motorcycle helmets make the population smarter.

The move has been prompted by an incident around a year ago in which Typhoon aircraft escorted a Lapland-registered aircraft over the UK’s major cities early on the morning of the 25th. The pilot of the craft was said to be under the influence of alcohol and very “festive”, this is especially dangerous due to the sheer volume of cargo the aircraft was carrying.

Rather than physically fitting a mechanical manual transmission to the back-end of an electric motor, this technology uses an unconnected gear stick and clutch pedal that use haptic drivers to generate ‘feel’. This is then combined with clever software and sound generators within the cabin to create a complete experience. Both elements are physically connected to, well nothing, but utilise technology already available on today’s cars to create virtual feedback.
The 'Matrix' inside the EV.

You can grind gears like a pro.

Subaru has been putting CVT transmissions into the Outback and other cars in their product lines. I bought one in 2010 and loved the lack of shifting. Just a nice easy acceleration from 0 to 60 without shift jolts and harsh changes in engine rpms. I replaced the 2010 this past year with a 2022 model. Weirdly enough, Subaru has now added a computer generated shift jolt to simulate the shifting gears that an normal automatic transmission would do. Fortunately it only shows up when I'm accelerating hard and not on an easy, slow acceleration. I can't understand why someone would do that!?

I'm not sure I'm liking this fake world they're building around us.

Still can't get over that my 14 year LED bulbs last less than six months.

Words and reality have no connection anymore. Soon "physical reality"...

...won't be.
The problem, IMHO, has never been about reality. But it's rather about truth, and to be specific, about the language. that describes it Words that used to be wholesome and clean have been corrupted to a point in which they no longer refer to their original meaning. And politics and commerce are to blame. A master politician knows that he that controls the language, also controls the perception of truth.

"The corruption of man begins with the corruption of language"

Road rage?
News today says that anti-vaxxers create other risks to themselves such as 10% more car accidents than vaccinated people.
Anti-vaxxers drive over the speed limit, run through stop signs and cause road rage because they are "against society and against the system". Car insurance companies are considering charging anti-vaxxers more for theIr insurance.
