I'm all for people having fun but that wasn't brake failure, that was builder failure testing in traffic with a knowingly sticking throttle.Well, he had a large bank account before he built the car. Not so much after.

The guys that drop $100k on a custom car (like Kevin Hart) make that money on one show, one basketball game or in one paycheck for certain CEOs. Hang around some big money players for a while and you'll never assume anyone drained a bank account on a hobby project again. The salaries some people make, or family money some people have, is beyond imagination for some.Well, he had a large bank account before he built the car. Not so much after.

You can't guaranteed that things like that can never happen (except by grounding every airplane permanently). The air show was rehearsed so that collisions like that never happen. Then was it caused by a replacement fighter pilot who was not in a rehearsal? Drugs or alcohol? Suicide?
A Washington, D.C., newspaper published a drawing of a Sea Dart operating from the Tidal Basin to defend the capital from Soviet bombers. The basin is about three feet deep and in no way suitable for any seaplane, but the image was captivating.
