Per Wikipedia :-
" Asterius, son of Minos and Androgenia, a girl from the Cretan city of Phaistos. He was the commander of Cretans who joined the god Dionysus in his Indian War. "

This is starting to feel like an epidemic.

There was a time when a ship's captain would give his life rather than put his ship and crew in danger.

Or is that just a mythical sailor's fantasy?
Mythical sailor's fantasy for a short port to port freighter. I've seen ratty junk fishing boats in Hong Kong better Captain'd than most of the rust buckets moving cargo.

PI tuna boats.

That student needs a good talking to.
and likely a new set of pants.

Kids need to know there are fools out there that just don't give a damn about laws, their lives or yours. Having the right of way for walking or driving does NOT mean you're safe.

Heads up, face out of that phone and on a swivel before crossing the road no matter what safety systems exist.

"...diverts mid-air..."

What's the alternative? Land and then divert on the ground? But wouldn't landing on the ground be a diversion? In mid-air?

The mind boggles.

I wonder if it would've been legal for the pilot to stay on the plane after it landed, and then fly back home on its next flight ...
