I might be saying blasphemy but DEI, with all it's warts can't be much worse than the old school military, good old boy promotion and leadership club I saw when in.
I'm not a good old boy. I won't allow my daughter to attend West Point.

That I won't, and others feel as I do, should be of great concern.

I was never going to let my kids take the military track anyway. I'm against DEI in all its forms but there were much worst problems in the US military during the 70's, long before DEI, Woke or any of this new-age BS. DEI is a face pimple compared to that.

A Flair Airlines Boeing 737-8 MAX, registration C-FLKO performing flight F8-641 from Toronto,ON to Winnipeg,MB (Canada), was climbing out of Toronto's runway 33L when the aircraft flew through a flock of geese. One of the birds impacted and penetrated the captain's windshield. The crew stopped the climb at 5000 feet and returned to Toronto for a safe landing on runway 33R about 30 minutes after departure.

Group Recklessly Riding Minibikes
On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, at 9:12 p.m., Portland Police officers who were monitoring downtown for demonstrations observed a group of minibike riders doing “burnouts” in Pioneer Courthouse Square. Officers responded immediately, and the minibike riders eluded police northbound on Southwest 6th Avenue, riding away while running red lights.

The Air Support Unit monitored the group from above and observed them riding into the Old Town Neighborhood, over the Burnside Bridge, then to a gas station parking lot at Southeast Martin Luther King, Jr Boulevard and Southeast Alder Street. Officers moved in and arrested 7 people. All were booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center on the listed charges:

Me and a Friend ride his MiniBikes. Their a lot of fun, don’t even get pulled over for not having a plate.

They are a lot of fun, but they are not street legal in most places. If it should be okay to operate one on public roads without it being properly licensed, why shouldn't it be legal to operate any other motor vehicle on public roads without it being properly licensed?

We have a problem around here with a handful of people operating both minibikes and small four wheelers on the roads and they seem to think that they can do anything they want, including completely ignoring stop signs or riding on the shoulder or the sidewalks to pass traffic. There are plenty of places around here where there are lots of trails suitable for these things.

The guy unloaded his 7mm Mag Semi-automatic rifle into the bear and it dropped a few feet from him. The big bear was still alive so he reloaded and shot it several times in the head.

The bear was just over 1,600 pounds. It stood 12' 6" high at the shoulder, 14' to the top of his head. It's the largest grizzly bear ever recorded in the world. Of course, the Alaska Fish and Wildlife Commission did not let him keep it as a trophy, but the bear will be stuffed and mounted, and placed on display at the Anchorage airport (to remind tourist's of the risks involved when in the wild).

Based on the contents of the bears stomach, the Fish and Wildlife Commission established the bear had killed at least two humans in the past 72 hours. His last meal (3rd picture) was the unlucky nature buff. I guess the bear didn't have a taste for genitals
