I have a Garmin 530 hcx that uses a special adapter to charge the battery. I have the adapter, I'm trying to find a cord that will go from USB to Barrel plug. I cannot find a cord with this plug size and voltage. I have attached some pictures of the barrel plug size. Essentially I'm trying to use a Goal Zero solar charger to charge the battery. Thanks for the help and any ideas.

I would get another used mains charger and chop the plug off and wire it to a usb lead, or get a car chsrger kit.

 

Would it hurt anything to go with a 5V cord? Or will it just take longer to charge? I found this cord on ebay. For the price was think of trying it if it won't hurt anything.
