I have a function generator with an output voltage up to 10V and output resistance of 50 ohm. I use mostly sinusoidal waves, but others as rectangular and triangle may be applied form time to time. My needs are for a frequency range between 50Hz and 100 kHz and required voltage and current around of 50 V and 1 A.
What would be the best low-cost alternative to achieve this amplification?

Perhaps a power opamp like the LM675 might work.
