Hi all,
Recently I purchased 2 of FTDI USB-RS485-WE-1800-BT has an issue, not working as expected. When I used the cable to connect my computer and a device for communication, my computer received garbage data after the device responded. This was unexpected as my other brand of USB-RS485 cables has no such encounter using the very same computer and the device. So I did a terminal test on these 2 of these FTDI cable by connecting each end of the data line together(orange to yellow, and yellow to orange). The result was still garbage and I cannot figure why this outcome. I'm really appreciate if any one here can advise me. I'm wondering is it defective.
