FTDI USB to I2C

Hello,

I have a FTDI UMFT200XD USB to I2C adapter. I am connecting to it a Bosch
BMP280 breakout board. I want to write a program to read the barometric pressure.

I need some guidance from someone who has worked with these. I have used FTDI's
FTD2XX_NET DLL to communicate with the 200XD. However, now I want to
read the barometric pressure. I cannot seem to communicate properly with the BMP280.

Does anybody know how these can be interfaced?
