for those not up to speed ( as I wasn't ) on brain-mind duality

https://plato.stanford.edu/entries/dualism/

" In the philosophy of mind, dualism is the theory that the mental and the physical – or mind and body or mind and brain – are, in some sense, radically different kinds of thing "

Not certain what that has to do with all about circuits, but thank you
do you have any questions on electronics or other topics to do with circuits ?

May be we could take it in small steps so we can follow where your going.

For instance, you ask,

" I can understand how a single frequency can be modulated to contain the fundamental freq. and associated overtones of one particular “voice” on a single wire. I have a hard time seeing how hundreds can be kept discretely ”parsable” within a parent wave."

Now that's something we can talk about,
are you up for that being the basis of this discussion ?
Definitely, yep—that’s what the thread was originally about :)...

As for what the brain-mind duality has to do with circuits, one could say the brain is some kind of circuit or aggregation of circuits. Boole’s delineation of that “circuit’s“ logic/reasoning system via Boolean principles has subsequently informed the design of most all human-made circuits. Finding its limitations and then triangulating a conscious mind definition beyond it is my goal.

I thought the thread was about
"
Frequency-division multiplexing
"

If its not,
can I suggest that rather than lead people who are finding this by a web search that you start a new thread with that tittle,

I was just clarifying... did you see the line above that? I.e., “Definitely, yep“ with respect your asking about the original topic?

As often heard on my boat when trolling offshore "FISH ON!". At least the thread is in Off Topic...
Also, I’m afraid you’re the troll, my friend. You’re trolling for an undignified response to your troll claim. I’ve been a member here for years and started topics that have totaled thousands of views and hundreds of replies. How about you? A “troll” is someone with disingenuous aim. There is no evidence for such. So kindly either contribute to the thread, or feel free to exit, because no one solicited your opinion about the thread’s relevancy as far as I can tell? Thank you.

I never pointed the finger at anyone nor wish to get into a discussion as to who's dog is better, but we have another aphorism down here, "Hit dogs bark". Fare thee well.

You clearly implied I’m a troll with your “fish on” remark, though. That’s finger-pointing, however implicit. I feel the right to clarify such baselessness for others. So “Hit dogs bark” doesn’t apply to me here?—but maybe “untrained dogs crap on the carpet, and need to be called on the carpet for doing so“ might reciprocatively apply.

just out of interest, as us and Europe are separated by common language,
what do "we" mean by a troll and by fishing ?

It exists, but it is a scientific/electronics question. Not a philosophical question.

FYI: restarting a thread after having one closed can be grounds for a permanent ban. The jury is still out if you are a troll or not. Are you here for electronics?

Drat! Eric beat me to it.
