This reminds me of another old Monty Pythons skit in which a competition was held to arrive at the most offensive and demeaning derogatory term that could be used to describe Belgians.

After the dour judges ruminated over various permutations of referring to Belgians as "sprouts" and such, the winning entry that was finally selected was the one which suggested that Belgians should simply be ignored, rather than acknowledged in any way.

That said, I have absolutely nothing against the French or the Belgians. Hell, some of my best friends live entirely on a diet of croissants and Brussels sprouts.
