I have noticed, starting today, that I need to tap the “post” button multiple times, sometimes as many as five times before it takes effect.

Coincidentally, or maybe not, I installed the security update Apple is pushing yesterday.

The button flashes, indicating the phone sees my tap, but the post is is not posted until mutiple tries.

Anyone else seeing this on an iphone ior elsewhere?

I will add that I believe I have seen similar behavior when my Internet connection is laggy.

 

I have two non-Apple touchscreen devices that have developed areas of limited sensitivity on the touchscreen. I'm really not a fan of touchscreens.

 

This bug only seems to show up on the forum, other places, clicks are taken the first time.

@BobTPH I'll do some testing on various phones and see if I can pinpoint the issue

 

I think I’ve seen that behavior, too.

But I’ve attributed it to the glass screen protector.

I took a cleaning cloth and rubbed it over the entire screen. Then so far, tapping behavior returned to normal.
