Still does not look right to me?
How does the phase shift winding get power?
C1 has to alternate in series with each winding in turn, as in the post 14 Pdf.
Sounds like the OP has it figured.

If the gate control works fine then what is the problem you referred to with the relays not energizing?

What I meant is that when 120 vac is applied to the circuit, no relays seem to be energized until the latching relay receives the impulse. When this happens, all works perfectly. I assumed it was desirable to have no relays energized when the circuit is in a passive state. (Hope my explanation is clear??) My comment in #22 was supposed to refer to Max' comment in #21. Do you have thoughts on #21?

Yes, the last circuit I posted was designed to have no relays energized when either of the limit switches is open and the motor stopped.
