Flux Ai use for pcb design

Hello friends
I found new topic online these days about using Ai in pcb design
Please take a look at that link


I am familiar with kicad, easyeda, and altuim software which we all engineers use for schematic and pcb design many years ago,
So how about now?, is it really possible using Ai in pcb design?
Have anyone tried this new method?, is it reliable?

Chatgbt help me in pcb design, but not to make the PCB, I just ask for something I don't know and he answer and I keep using the design software itself, and go on the design
How about now?

Trust in any design software must be earned thru ERROR FREE results. I am always skeptical of products with fantastic claims.
so I suggest examining carefully the terms and conditions of purchasing the product and returning it for a refund if it is not what you want.

Which Flux version do you intend to use? I doubt any general purpose AI image generator/editor would have been trained on PCB technical requirements for trace widths, spacings, component dimensions etc. Happy to be proved wrong, though.
I often wonder if it would be more or less effort to go through the schematic and edit in all the required track widths, or simply to track the board setting the track widths as I go.
An AI tooL that could arrange the ICs so that it would track easily might be handy, but not if the positions of sockets, LEDs, switches etc. were already defined by a fascia layout.

I find checking if the AI did it right easier and faster than thinking all by my own. Is it lazyness? We all are but we try not to be. And inside companies, we all try to be as fast as possible, leading us to be lazy at home. We can't fight a good tool. To be good is a matter of when, not if it will be. AI is still spreading, reaching niches, and only then being updated to be good. Takes some months.

Agreed, if AI is given a limited remit, so that what it has done is easy to check; but if it is allowed to spread its tentacles far and wide throughout your entire project there may be a lot to check.

Checking the AI results would not be much different from checking human PCB layout results. There are Two requirements: circuit correctness and design rule compliance.
