Hi all. A colleague of mine is working on production of a circuit board used to control a "chiller" (refrigerator for aircraft). We have some units that have a M30626FHPFP#U5C micro-controller and he wants to know if it's possible to somehow "download" the flashed code from the programmed controller and use it to flash a new micro-controller not yet flashed or would he need to get the code elsewhere and flash it with a flasher?

You can attempt to read the code in the MCU.
If you cannot read the code then the chip was rendered read-protected, which means you're outta luck.

Maybe, but you need to have the knowledge on how to do this. It is not straight forward and requires special tools.
