You should also look at this. I haven't bolted mine to the base but simply use it loose with the part clamped in... Has nylon jaws for things like glass etc.

You might also look at the benchtop drill press that Harbor Freight sells with a 1/3hp motor and at least a 1/4" chuck (no specs.).

Not sure if i could use a vise as i would mainly drill flat boards. Nice vice though.
That drill press looks good i'm going to have to take a look at that and maybe recommend it to the neighbor as he really wanted a regular drill press not a combination drill press and milling head. I love that combo though makes a really tough drill press which would be really great for carbide bits of the smallest sizes.
I see they make sizes even smaller than #75. I think #90 and that must be hair thin. Never needed that though.
