The Porsche 911 is by far the best car ever designed in my opinion. What a contribution this man made to cars, and especially keeping all the competition on their toes.

 

They have been quite a dynasty, the Porsches, I think it was his grandfather that was behind the original VW Beetle, and whatever we may think of the political environment around its conception, (KdF-Wagen and all that), it was certainly an important car of its time, and must have helped in Germany's industrial recovery post-WW2.

Like father, like son, as they say. Has the late Herr Porsche got any offspring in the business?
