Hello everyone,
I was just wondering if it possible to extract power from iphone's battery (through its audiojack, or lightning connector/dock connector) ?
I am working on a project in which a sound analyzer is integrated with an iphone, and I was wondering if I can power up the sound analyzer (without any external battery) through th iphone.
if yes, how can I do that? I haven't been able to find anything online yet.

Looking at the pin-out of the iphone connector here it looks like all the voltages are inputs. Reading the notes for pin 27 it does however hint at pin 18 being +3V3 out. You'd need to check this first and ensure it's capable of supplying the current you need.
