Hi, I'm currently doing a project where i have to extend my smartphone camera module outside the device and extend it so that the cable length is about a meter or so. It seems that smartphone cameras these days are capable of taking great res images and other ways i've searched (such as using an raspberry pi with an extension module) are just not upto the task resolution wise.

I'm not an expert on such things but I thought it was do-able, so I'm seeking help in this community. Forgive my Ignorance T-T
I have been googling for a while on how to do this and I've found few useful posts such as these

I'm using LG G4 and I've gathered up some useful info that i dont know how to read ;; LOL;; and also attached some images of G4
Service Manual = https://www.docdroid.net/5CE1FrQ/lg-g4-h815-service-manual.pdf.html

Number 1 walks me through the steps but i got lost when he talked about bypass capacitors and the possible loss of signal integrity.

I'm currently stuck without basic knowledge of what I should do so I'm looking for some really useful help.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! THanks!

Sorry for the bump, but I'm wondering if you were able to have any success or progress on this? I'm considering doing the same, but am concerned that extending a phone's camera cable might introduce voltage drops/ripples/issues, or perhaps make it susceptible to outside interference. Thanks!
