Equivalent using Thevin

I am to find the resistance R_l, I assume I can apply the Thevin's theorem at the points before on top and below RL and apply this theorem to then find the Power of RL or PRL for maximum power transfer

Just need a bit of clarifaction if this method will work or if there is an complications I might be overseeing in this fairly simple looking circuit
