There were only a handful of chips in the late 1970s / early 80s that were clock-radios single chip solutions. If you look up the chip number, the corresponding DATASHEET will tell you the schematic. Mostly from National Semiconductor and a company started with M (not Motorola - but a US Company).

I have not opened the radio yet, but because of the dual alarm I'm guessing it isn't a standard NS part. Plus, there is other surgery planned, which is why I'm looking for an exact schematic.

I forgot you said dual alarm - likely a this Sanyo chip.
