I am looking to find out what size fuse is used in a Coleman power mate 18v drill charger input 120vac 60hz 46w
Output 20.5v 1.4a 28.5va.
Output 20.5v 1.4a 28.5va.
I put a 2 amp 250 v fuse in it charged 1battery when I tried to charge the second one ( about 6 hours later) the charge light went out as soon as I put the battery in.The diodes on the bridge rectifier are rated at 3amps, so i guess a 2amp would be safe..
It is usual to find the fuse No. stamped on one end cap, look the number up and it will indicate the nature of the fuse, FB. SB, etc.I am looking to find out what size fuse is used in a Coleman power mate 18v drill charger input 120vac 60hz 46w

I have 4batteries no power when I put the other 3 inWell it works then, unless the second battery is faulty...

Max.
So it can't be the charger then, if works on one battery and not the others, are they all for that charger?I have 4batteries no power when I put the other 3 in

NoOnly thing i can suggest is the cells are faulty, there doesn't seem to be any intelligence on the charger to detect faulty cells, only a third pin for temperature sensing, are there any chips on the underside?
I put the fuse in and it charged the first battery fine then this morning I tried the second battery and 2seconds after I put in 2nd battery the charge light went out took that battery out tried first one again no lights on it I assumed the fuse blew againDoes it still charge the first battery correctly (after you've discharged it a bit, that is)?
I am at work right now,its at homeOK. Can you check the fuse?
