Hi i want to fix my Altec lasing speakers, And i know whats the problem
there some cable that needs replacmnet, 9 pin din cable. its posibble to buy that cable with that connector included?
by the way that connector is welded. The reason i want to buy this part with cable included, I could not get out the wires outside.

Please tell where can i buy this part and how its called??

 

I see a ten pin cable (orange, orange, black, black, yellow, red, green, grey, violet, blue). Is that what you are referring to, or are you including the larger diameter red and black wires too?

Are you asking whether that cable can be purchased? Have you checked with the manufacturer?

A better picture of the white connector may show whether the wires are soldered to it, crimped, or connected by insulation displacement (IDC) . From just what you show, the connector may be soldered to the board, but attachment of the wires to it may not be by solder.

I want to buy a new connector, and replace him. where can I buy connector like this?

 

 

What’s the pin spacing of the connector? Is it a plug, which removes from the PCB? Or is it soldered onto the PCB and the wires inserted into it? If the latter, this looks like a possible replacement. You’ll need to check it out further at the link.

I have not seen a connector exactly like that, but I have only seen a few hundred thousand of the billion versions that are made.

If I were to guess, the connector is soldered to the board, then the wires are inserted. Of course, the wires could be inserted first. But my guess is that the individual wires may not be soldered, but have a crimp fitting on the ends that is inserted into the connector and retained by a barb, indent, or something -- much like contacts are retained in Molex housings and many others.



Is that mark pointing to a release or lever? Can you lift it and release the wire? As you have that device in hand, and I do not, you will have to do the experimentation.

i couldnt realese the wires from some reason, I think Im gonna buy a new connector and 10 pin din wire for audio
