Does such a shift register IC exist?

I have an application which can benefit from the output pin arrangement of the 74xx595 series shift registers but the problem is, I don't want to make a separate clock pulse (from the main one) just to see the data at the outputs. The functionality of the 74xx164 is perfect but the output pins are all on the right side of the chip. Is there a chip commonly available that functions like the 74xx164 chips but the outputs are on the lower pins instead of some on top and some on bottom?
