Hey guys, so after many hours of trying to find any sort of help online in google pictures, i finally surrender and turn to you! :)
I have bought an old car dvd player thing. The plan was to connect a small camera with rca output to it, but the display unit has a rgb/av/sega connector, apparently the power goes through there too. I have no clue how to hook this up, ive bought two and ive already burnt one off, so if someone could help me i would be very happy! :) I will post some pictures aswell! Thanksin advance! ;)

These pictures are not very useful without knowing the make and part number of the stuff involved.
Make and post a diagram showing what you are trying to accomplish.

Oh boy ! Double posting makes trouble.

Picture #3 shows 8 wires to a PCB connector. Do they all come from the mini-din 8 pin jack ? Or where do they go ?

If yes, chances are you already have a composite video input for the camera. There is pins labeled "C in" and "video" They could be composite-in from the camera. Follow them.
For powering the camera, get 12V from anywhere else as the "V in" labeled pin may be the supply input for the DVD player. That is unclear. If the DVD player gets 12V supply from somewhere else, measure such "DC in" when powered to check if that can power the camera.
Other pins seem to be selection for 4:3 image sizing; DVD or video-in display selection "DVD/AV"; Enable unit "EN"; brightness control "BRI"
See no audio-in label.
