Hi all, I am using Texas Instruments simulation program Tina TI. I can't get it to simulate correctly to the real circuit. I don't know how to show you the schematic. Always getting wrong file type. The file type I tried was .rtf. I may have set up the simulation incorrectly.
How can I get from the above file type to one acceptable on this forum?

 

Compress the files to *.zip and upload it(attach function).

 

Hi all, Scott wang has suggested a zip file to show my Tina TI simulation schematic. I will give that a go and hope this time the file will be accepted.
The load is a 25w filament globe. In the actual setup the globe is only faintly on. However the simulation shows a full mains drop over the globe ie fully on.
Is there something wrong with my simulation schematic? My Tina is a free complimentary one that is supposed to be fully functional. I prefer LTSpice but it does not have triac and diac models.

 

Third party triac and diac models for LTspice are available. Members here can probably supply what you want. @Bordodynov has a good collection of models.
