Hi, I am writing a two page double spaced paper on Logic Gates in everyday life. I saw the thread where somebody asked a similar question, but what I am looking for is: what everyday items use logic gate chips.
Not really.Hope that clarifies what I am asking.
If we exclude FPGAs, MCUs, CPLDs, ASIC, and other configurable (either mask or field or anywhere inbetween) logic, the use is probably fairly minimal, particularly in a world that is increasingly driven by small, battery-powered, mass-produced products (or mass-produced period, even if it's a good size appliance). The use of individual logic chips is going to see itself in low-volume production runs where the need for some glue logic exists but the volumes don't justify the NRE to use some type of configurable logic.Logic gates in Logic gate chips in everyday items.
Hope that clarifies what I am asking.
