"The carbon dioxide is released into the environment, however, the fuel consumption is about 80 % lower than that of internal combustion engine idling and also the produced amount of carbon dioxide is decreased by 80 %."

This statement seems very dubious. How does it perform at full power?
Why would you want to have the IC engine idling?

I want to build a small and light silent electric generator.

From what I have studied so far, a fuel cell with alcohol would be more affordable.

in the end, it all comes down to hydrogen

Diesel fuel undergoes catalytic reforming, meaning high pressure and high temperature.

Alcohol seems to give up hydrogen more easily.
Electronegativity.
Of course, I mean a harmless alcohol.
