I pay like $5 for a 2.5 gallon refill. I think there's a $3 or $4 deposit on the plastic bottle.
Hi,

Oh yeah that is a good price, around here i would be lucky to get a gallon for five dollars.

But anyway i got some real life Clorox bleach! :)
I was beginning to think i'd never see such a thing again.
I was talking to a neighbor on the phone and he said he had two gallons plus so he filled up an old quart size bleach container and gave it to me. So i have some at least for now.

But i will still investigate that Dichloro stuff and see if it can disinfect. Maybe there is a way to tell i'll have to ask around.

I found that i can test it on a bacterial culture by growing one and then seeing how it works on that, but i have absolutely no way to test on viral samples because i cant start a viral culture and i wouldnt even if i could.
Apparently the only way is to send it to a testing lab which is probably expensive.

Wow i found this:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sodium_dichloroisocyanurate

It says it is widely used as a biocide for water treatment.
That is amazing since the official word of Clorox is that it is not made for use as a disinfectant.
Strange.
According to some studies, it can actually be better than regular bleach depending on pH levels.
