Hello guys, Im Cris, an Electronics Engineering student.

We're tasked to make a project, using the things we learnt on class. So I decided to make a fan speed controller circuit using diac and triac, and then added a rectifier for the led indicator.

I just want to ask those here, whohave more experience that I. May I ask what can i do better here, and what mistake may i have unknowingly done. I would also gladly appreciate suggestions. I'm still on the early stage on my project, and just wanting to get some help here.

*the RV1 and RV2 is supposed to be a dual gang potentiometer, it should work right??? help me whahaha

 

Also there is a restriction by our professor, as much as possible, we shouldn't use IC or microcontrollers
