Undoubtedly, the item comes with a quality control signed checklist so it's somewhat academic. I inspected them on arrival and they looked tip top, no scratches or damage of any kind. I suspect the problem was Amazon, the binocs will have been hand collimated but perhaps jolted or dropped by Amazon. If you buy a pair I'd go straight to Obewerk and get it shipped from them directly.
