At the end of the first episode this time they find a coin, pretty much strange because it has a square hole in the middle.

The only coins I could find are from China 4th century BC to the 20th Century.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cash_(Chinese_coin)

Cash was a type of coin of China and East Asia, used from the 4th century BC until the 20th century AD, characterised by their round outer shape and a square center hole (方穿, fāng chuān). Originally cast during the Warring States period, these coins continued to be used for the entirety of Imperial China as well as under Mongol and Manchu rule. The last Chinese cash coins were cast in the first year of the Republic of China. Generally most cash coins were made from copper or bronze alloys, with iron, lead, and zinc coins occasionally used less often throughout Chinese history. Rare silver and gold cash coins were also produced.

However did they manage to miss it in the first two seasons? I thought they had already destroyed the whole island an put it through a fine sieve. I guess they have to get really creative this time around to keep the phony drama and tension high.

They are also reproduced today or were . I bought a copy of the I Ching back in the 1990's and one came with it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Ching

Why didn't they talk more with the diver to get information about the gold thing(coin?) he dropped when down in the hole?
Ya, the gold thingy that dropped, suddenly now they will do an air burst to bring up stuff, like they did last time. Result nothing.

Plus, the bobby dazzler found, sometimes I wonder if he isn’t placing stuff randomly to find, just to peek our interests.
