Don't have enough info to have an opinion. 12KV isn't current, so we're off to a bad start on the info front. I've grabbed higher voltages, but they were extremely low current, so the moment I grabbed them the voltage dropped.

People often get voltage and current confused. Together their lethal, but separately not so much.

 

Bill, is right, more and correct information would be needed to discuss such a topic.
