Creative T6060 volume/bass controller broken

Hello from Greece! I'm new to the forum. I have creative 5.1 t6060 set of speakers, the problem is my volume/bass controller is broken. It is attached to cable with 9 pin connector to the woofer. Is there anyway to bypass it, to turn on the speakers to Max volume and bass and to control them via windows or is there anyway I could built a new one from scratch? I found a volume controller for i-trigue 3400. Will it work with my system. I cannot afford to buy a new set. Please help me
